Koning CT for Breast was introduced at RSNA 2006. The meeting was attended by over 60,000 medical professionals and imaging specialists from all over the globe. Visitors were most impressed with image quality and extent of diagnostic information produced by the system. Its unique horizontal gantry permits comfortable patient positioning with modular positioning inserts to accommodate various body parts. The system provides unparalleled high spatial and true isotropic resolution at lower dose levels than current CT units.

Image viewing is both 2D multi-slice, multi-planer viewing and full 3D visualization. In a small survey of RSNA participants, image quality was rated as excellent (96%) and system performance was rated as better than current modalities (71%).
